News & Notices
Don't
like camping? Hotels are available in Paso Robles! However, to find the
room you want, we advise that you reserve as early as possible. The car show is
no longer in Paso Robles and this has opened up hotel rooms for the taking. So
don't think you will not be able to find a room; you will. For a list of hotels
in Paso Robles, please go

Mountain Biking at the
Rally
K-Man Cycle and Run in
Atascadero will be providing guided mountain bike tours on Sat. and Sun. Riders
will meet at their store in Atascadero and will be taken on an intermediate
mountain bike ride of about 10-15 miles. This will definitely be a good
work-out and provides you the opportunity to discover mountain biking in the
Paso Robles area. Thank you Keith Schmidt and K-Man! |

Fun Rides and Training
Events
Northern California: Saturday, April 17:
Mr. Frog's Wild
Ride:Wildflower-full April is a great time to get into the frontier
spirit evoked by Mark Twain in his Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras
County. This is a springtime ride in the Sierra Foothills.
Southern California:Saturday March 6:
Tour De Sewer Fun
Ride: Pedal off those winter doldrums. Start the cycling season by
meeting old friends and making new ones in the expected 1200+ riders who come
for the past 23 years to enjoy the Bell Gardens Lions Club's Tour De Sewer. The
Tour de Sewer offers your choice of interesting 15, 30 and 62 mile fun bike
rides, not races. The rides will leave the John Anson Ford Park in Bell
Gardens, starting at 8:00 a.m. The 62 mile route will proceed north to Hacienda
Heights. On the 30 mile course there is one moderate hill to climb and descend,
the remainder of the course is relatively flat. The 15 mile course is flat.
Your entry fee includes the ride and full support, free t-shirt and lunch and
raffle tickets are included. |
We need volunteers! It's fun to do and a
great way to meet other people.
