Memorial Day Weekend

May 22 - 25th, 2009

Sharon, Jim and I are preparing again for the 45th Rally. As always, we are refining and improving our marketing and the Rally itself. The rising gas cost (well, not at this moment) has helped the bicycle industry and the slow down of the economy should help Rally attendance simply because it is one of the most affordable vacations available in California. So please be our ambassadors and bring your friends and family. We hope you can attend this year and don't hesitate to contact us if you have questions or suggestions.

Great Western Supported Century and Metric Century- It's a Beauty!

If you like support, fully-stocked rest stops and route markers, then the Century or Metric Century is for you. As you sign up for the Rally, the cost is only $10 extra. This covers food and equipment rental and other expenses to conduct these rides. If you want to come for one day, or introduce your friends to the Rally who cannot come the entire time, then this is a perfect event.

The new routes will be available for viewing on the web site in January.

Mountain Biking at the Rally: Guided Mountain Biking Tours

This year we will be providing guided mountain biking tours by none other than our local bike shop sponsor K Man Cyclery and Run. The rides will be led by K Man Employees and participants will drive to the Paso Robles Shop and carpool to the ride start. You can also visit K Man for all of your local repair needs or other clothing and gear items.

Saturday Pancake Breakfast By the Paso Robles Grange

The Grange has been cooking pancake breakfasts for years and are experts at it. For just $7.00 you can eat your way to heaven before riding. The menu includes Bacon, Eggs, Pancakes and Orange Juice.... enough to feed an army. You can prepay through registration and please come out and support the local Grange.

Web Site Changes: Improved Navigation and Photo Gallery

If you have not been to the web site lately, we have improved the left-side navigation, have added new pages and a new photo gallery. The navigation will load quicker and its easier to find what you need. If you have any suggestions for the web site we are all ears!
