2007 Workshops and Meetings (2008 will be confirmed in April)
The
Rally also generally includes evening presentations by various speakers or
other entertainment. An annual meeting of CABO (California Association of
Bicycling Organizations) is also held at the Rally and all are welcome to
attend to find out what is happening in organized cycling on a statewide basis.
Other
bicycling organizations are welcome to hold meetings at the Rally as well. Any
interested organizations or individuals who would like to do a presentation or
hold a meeting, should contact the Rally and we will arrange a time and
facilities.
Friday
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm: CABO discussion group
Saturday Afternoon: Women's Ride Clinic - and will cover topics such as
safety, nutrition, riding necessities, must know maintenance, and women's fit
on bikes.

1:00 pm - 3:00 pm: CABO Meeting

11am - 12pm: Clinic- Training Wheel Freedom - Is it time for those
training wheels to come off? Dane Clark of the Orange County Wheelmen has
designed a short 30- 45 minute course to get kids off their training wheels.

7:30 - 9:30pm: Michael Quileza-Shimano - Tales of the Road -Saturday
night Michael Quileza will be speaking about Tales from the Road.
Michael is the Multi-Service Technical Representative for Shimano and has been
coming to the Rally for the last 15 years. He and Josh Borgmeyer from Trek have
been at Riverside Gate offering support and bike fixing. Michael will be
talking about stories from past major cycling events from across the
county.
